Post from the Future

Do not let the date deceive you; in fact, this is the future author jumping through a time portal posting on Sunday. Realised that tcs8 depends on 倚天屠龙记 to boost its ratings substantially. Anyway enjoy this photo gallery:

Mammals

Was planning to have a peaceful study of Nature, when my three helpful friends interrupted me. Wondered how much have they saboed me....oh man....this is bad. Time for damage control.

Plan to visit my primary school after a 4-years absence. Maybe I will return back to RI. Still haven't met and expressed my gratitude to my Chinese teacher, Mdm Tong, who helped me tremendously in my half-baked Chinese last time. She alone helped me jumped 5 grades. Hope to have a good night's rest without nightmares of me flying all over the place

Had no dreams just now, or rather no nightmares. I do not know how to describe my feelings now, its an awful mix of bitterness. Tried to pig it out by eating a lot at Bedok, almost attempted to drink some V.S.O.P stuffs, but didn't in the end. Both failed in trying to make me forget my sorrows. It is as if someone forced me to eat gall.
"All I ask is to pass this paper,...is it too much to ask for?"
How do you describe rage, sorrow, helplessness, anxiety and fear in one word? I do not know. Now that I have lost my appetite to eat. Maybe I should look at the Bio Histo CD for solace.
Anyway, here's a little note: Eddie Cai successfully took his N.A.P.F.A. That's all I have to say.

Amendment

Made some mistake in my previous post about 倚天屠龙记, about Zhu Yuanzhang being zhang wuji. Anyway, next week's episode seems to be exciting (it gets better every week), so stay tuned and find out. Meanwhile, I thought of something when I was watching the show:
1/2 of 芷若+1/2 of 赵敏= :) figure for yourself. Regardless, I must get ready for the great Hunt tomorrow.

Things to do after Prelims:

  • Get 倚天屠龙记 VCDs
  • Go to Zhengxian's house and thrash out Dynasty Warriors 4, despite it being a brainless enemy bashing game aka Diablo in Chinese.

Start of the Hunt

Log: 1530. Position:Somewhere in Gaia Event: 3 hrs after the Hunt
Xenomorph puts up an unusually tough fight. Despite a huge current overheat, the creature persists in its futile struggle. Slightly hurt as it managed to inflict some damage to my wires before dying. Creature must have evolved, to launch such an unexpected attack. Fortunately, the first experiment succeeded. Could go home with pride that the prey has been subdued. Meanwhile, damage control must be done; weapons must be upgraded to deal with deadlier strains.
This is only the beginning. More xenomorphs are expected to swarm this area.

Try and decipher what this means. Meanwhile, Yan Fen has kindly agreed to lend me her batch's edition of the yearbook. Though the

Desert Rose is not there, I am content to be able to find out about the history of my classmates and other acquaintances. As expected, Raymond, Ivan and Terrence were fighting over my prize collection, like some sort of secret manual. Maybe I should wrap the book in plastic, since their anxiety might damage the book.

Learnt quite a number of unexpected facts and trivia about my classmates that I might never be able to know. Now the jigsaw puzzles are starting to fall into places. Origins of friendships (for eg. Hotseat and Month) are starting to fit into place. Interesting.

Predator Mode

School ended normally, even though it was the last day of official school term. Dr Chan let us off early, seeing as we need to mug for physics practical tomorrow. I decided to go home to rest, since it was not worth the wait for my senior to arrive. Told her that I was sorry and was too tired to meet her. Meanwhile, I must be prepared for the Hunt tomorrow, equiping myself with the latest equipment. Must go and check the conditions of my french curves and find available test tubes.

Hate

Was thinking of apologising for being a tad rude. After what he said to my mother and threatened her (with me in mind), FORGET IT Now I finally understand why my elder sis left our home to rather seek a rent somewhere. What can beat freedom under such opression?

IF YOU CAN THINK MONEY CAN BUY ME, forget it. I believe in reciprocricy. Damn you. Always threatening my mother, my two sisters, thinking you are always right. If you think you are the only one that can be violent, think again. I'm just showing you respect as a figurehead. Most of the time, I do not intervene when you discipline. But sometimes you push it too far. And my patience has limits. Money money money. Is that what you think about? A sad life indeed. Always tried to convince me that HE contributes to the family welfare, by paying 10%downpayment for everything, comparing the amount he paid to my mother's. Never spared a thought for my mother. DID YOU ADD UP THE DAILY ALLOWANCES she has to fork up for my sister and I? What about cutting off an internet line in the so-called attempt to save money? She even has to foot the internet bill, which he freely used. My mother also has to buy dinner for my sis and I. Damn you, did you even think about that? You paid even my A Levels with a grudging heart. You said you wanted to support me through education? What hypocricy.I have been bottling up my anger and resentment for too long. You even attempted to control my freedom of thought. I have already agreed to your terms, yet this is what you do? Yet despite all this, credit must be given to him. On his attempts to mollycurdly me. I appreciate that. That's why I am the only child that agreed to support you when you grew old. But I had the intention in mind to support both my parents, not you only. The question that you have been asking: Who will I follow if you divorce? My answer to that is neither, since like Taiwan, if you cause the divorce I cannot support you. Still remember my elder sis telling me that her boyfriend was quite surprised that HE unsubletly reminded her that it was HE that paid for her diapers, milk powder when she was young. This is the last straw.

The reason why I am so goofy (and talks stuffs out of point) in school is that I want to pretend that nothing happens. That it is alright. Somehow I can control it well. Maybe I was wrong, maybe I need to see Mrs Chan soon.
Next time when I marry, I must not follow the path of my father. I must love my wife as how Yahweh loves his people. Whether my child be a son or daughter, I want to love him or her the same way. There will be no such thing as the hated word favouritism EVER AGAIN. Anyway, heard from Ginway that the Desert Rose was stressed. Just hope she recovers soon.
Amendment from previous post: Thankfully, I have great friends that are forgiving. Shall follow their example. For the sake of the Treetop Community, I shall forgive. After all, which man is perfect. I am probably guilty of commiting the same error to others as well. Just that my threshold level was very low, coupled with the provocation in the above, for the need to vent my anger.

Saint

Really admire Shun Wei. A worthy role-model. Not only is she academically strong, (imagine getting 100% for Bio) but she is also of a gentle-nature. Was pleasantly surprised to receive her card of encouragement, which she wrote for everyone in class. Cannot imagine the time and effort she had put in, thus I will preserve the sacred card in my secret archive and time-capsule.

Eddie Cai is going to be in deep trouble if he skips NAPFA. It was so serious that Mr Michael warranted the presence of all the CT reps to deliver a stern warning of how the CCA records will be withheld during farewell assembly if this persists (that is for those who skip). If the person has been awarded colours, he will personally write in to strike off the person. Kind of worried for Eddie Cai, as he needs to take it soon and there are only 3 sessions left. Wanted to support him together with Gin Way and Alvin Ong yesterday, but he apparently left at the last minute.

Had an interesting GP lesson today. Was feeling sleepy when I heard an unpredecented view from my teacher that Jesus was a socialist. Sounds quite strange to me. It would have been a perfect day today if not for the fact that someone spoilt it for me. Very angry at Jun Loong today, quite rare as I try not to get angry with anyone. In a condescending manner, he remarked that he was even surprised that I got gold for NAPFA and sniggered. Though I have nothing to say since he was much stronger in physique, I was so pissed at the way he looked down on people, that I untied both his shoelaces. I could have done much worse. Can't imagine what happens if he had said in the same manner to Ginway. He would probably be trashed literally and figuratively. No point fighting because of that. The Tree-top community does not need people who look down on others. Enough said.

Anyway, Raymond was diaoed by us today. Quote worthy from Dingjie: "If you are innocent, then the whole world will be saints", though we had a hilarious session during Bio lecture today, talking about everything under the sun.

Carbon

Composed by Youwei after he was extremely bored doing GP test. He scribbled his creative expression with a pencil on the table:
Carbon
Hi, I am carbon
If you are interested in me, carbon date me
If you want to know my age, carbon date me
If you want to die, oxidise me
If you want to heat up, further oxidise me
If you don't like me,
Erase me.

Feeling Evil

Went to watch Alien Vs Predator with Gin Way, who kindly agreed to follow me. As expected, Raymond the sleepy head went home early. Rejected Ivan's Ice cream mania by asking him to eat himself, which was already quite kind on my part. (at least no vulgarities involved). GinWay and I were slacking at the back of the double decker 111, when a group of red-blooded young boys came in to talk about their latest exploits:
Note that exaggeration is heavily used to prove my point, all italised stuffs are added by me.
Boy 1: @#$%^$^(some Hokkien words), got go to this website or not? I think you don't dare lor.
Boy 2, feeling flustered: Of course lah. I read through every of my father's magazines liao. Seen everything already.
Boy 3, after bragging about how familiar he was with the nether region, taunted him:
Sure or not? or you just bluffing?I recommend you this site (insert some website)...
Then they continued raving happily in a loud manner, despite the upper level being nearly filled with people. I am amazed that these boys who look no older than primary 6 are already as mature as teenagers. Oh mi gosh...this is bad. They are ageing faster than they should. Fortunately, this is only a small sample (I hope), and not reflective of society in general. If not, we are in deep !@$#%^&*().

Since it was a Monday afternoon, there was hardly a queue. Went in to watch after a short meal at Tacos. Meanwhile, Eddie Cai was sending nonsensical smses to Ginway, details which the latter will reveal in due time. Eddie couldn't appreciate the show, because he finds it distasteful that it is not as intellectually-stimulating as his quantum physics, unlike me who expected no intelligent script but only alien blood and gore.

I do not know what came over me over the past few days. Have been feeling extremely evil. There's a dark side in everyone I guess. Often wondered what am I like(and the Desert Rose) in the alternate reality...

Origins of 倚天屠龙记

If J.R.R. Tolkien can be called one of the literary giants of the West, then 金庸 can be called the Tolkien of the East. (or maybe tolkien can be called 金庸 of the West, but since the former is dead but the latter is alive..then). Credit to Jerold, I've managed to produce these chinese words with ease.

Actually what is being shown on screen right now is the 3rd novel in the series. First was 射雕侠侣, followed by 神雕侠侣(made famous by Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, if you still remember Christopher Lee and Fann Wong). Though the plots may seem fanciful due to the myriad of kungfu skills, they do have a historical background behind it.

Still remembered being "forced" to read those books by Miss Yang, the infamous but respectable (because her command of English and Chinese can put anyone of us to shame :S). Then I dreaded to read, but found them more enjoyable as time passed. According to the story, 射雕侠侣 was set before the Mongol invasion, 神雕侠侣 was during the Mongol invasion, and finally the beloved show we see on the screen today was decades after the Yuan Dynasty, on the advent of the Ming Dynasty (hence the Ming rebels).
金庸 decided to glorify Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming peasant general that led to the downfall of the Mongols, and romanticise him as Zhang Wuji. Wondered how the story will end, though I must say one of my friend (Niloc) is really hardcore, already viewing episode 24 and maybe more.

Meanwhile, the Desert Rose hasn't come online yet...

Floorball Match

At the end of bio practical, day had almost turned to night. There was an eerie feel as the whole school was suddenly enshrouded in darkness. Went to check my practical schedule again. Sadly, I will only see a glimpse of the Desert Rose in one of the Prelim Pracs. Alvin Ong decided to get a free ride from his parents. Rested in the library for a while to read newspaper. Suddenly, Mr Jimmy Teo popped out of nowhere and grinned at me while I was engrossed reading a corny article of Predator vs Aliens. Got a shock as he promptly sat down to read about Li Jiawei's exploits in Asia Section.

Was about to make myself out through the swarm of schoolbags when I bumped into the Exotic Girl. (By the way, she is I.U.H.I.A.J's good friend). She still looks as pretty as ever, not much difference even with her spectacles on. Being the usual bloke, no words proceeded from my mouth and I went out hastily.

Went down and met Eddie Cai browsing through the practical schedule. Surprisingly, I saw the Desert Rose and Hotseat walking happily across the concourse. Decided not to spoil their mood since the weather was already quite gloomy. Never really notice her eyes, since I am too shy to really see her eyelashes. Anyway, I must not think too much about her first.

Raymond and co. were in the canteen, preparing for the long-anticipated match. With the timely arrival of Eddie Cai, they could finally change up. The match was supposed to start at 5:10. In the end it started around 5:45 pm. Initially wondered whether the PE teachers had forgotten, since Mr Tan was playing squash and eating snacks in the canteen. Raymond and gang were also playing badminton in the indoor gym to pass time.

Finally the teachers came. An all-star team was formed on both sides. Both used good quality black floorball sticks. At first, I thought it was only for 3I people. Apparently, I was wrong. Became a benchwarmer cheering my friends on. Raymond and Ginway would have formed a formidable double team if they had more stamina. Looks like tests and exams have taken their toll, but the team still put up a commendable effort. Lian Kiat and the heavily armoured Shen Xiang were indispensable, stopping many tricks and hat-tricks from Mr Tan. Alex and Nick also scored a number of goals. Terrence also improved. Basically every 3I guy except Ser Jin was there. Wondered where the girls went to, since I thought it would have been well-publicised before hand.

Mr Tan(fondly known as Psycho Tan) deserves special mention. The team of PE teachers was struggling to score without him. Only Mr Tan can single-handedly juggle, feint, spin, back-spin, shoot (with incredible strength and acceleration), taunt Ivan and Raymond and demolish our lead. Now I see why he can be the only teacher fit enough to coach both guys and girls hockey and floorball team. Desert Rose's technique also improved drastically under him.

In the end, after many substitutions, we lost despite a valiant effort to win the last goal in sudden death. The match that dragged on for 2 hrs finally came to an end (though the last goal was an anticlimax) of 24-25. Had dinner with Eddie, Ginway and Raymond before going home to sleep.

Three Little Bears

Had an interesting conversation with my daily online friend. Somehow, I veered into the topic of Desert Rose and my friend thought of an extremely creative name for she and her clique. (By the way, he also gave her the codename "Ang Bao", I came up with Hotseat). Any resemblance is not purely coincidental. As I forgot to save the history, I shall try to replicate the scenario

The conversation went something like this:
Z: Yoz man, what ya doing?
Tb(倚天屠龙):Blog surfing and blogging
Z: Hey man, I come out with the new name for (true name of Desert Rose) and her friends. How about we call them 3 little bears
Tb(倚天屠龙): ?why they called 3 little bears?
Z:Coz they really look like little bears what..their heads are not proportional to their small body frame, dont look like cute teddy bears then look like what?...(cute is I add)
Tb(倚天屠龙): Hahahaaaha. Quite creative there.

Then my friend diverged to talk about Red Riding Hood, the Big bad wolf and his bear clubbing skills in the forest of China, which were not quite related to teddy bears. Anyway, to join the Club of Teddy Bears is an honour, since teddy bears are cute, lovable and huggable, like the Desert Rose and Hotseat. Somehow, words fail me, as I do not know how to best describe the last "bear", unless someone comes out with a nickname soon.

Grad Nite Preparations?

Judging from the dismal response from my class, in which less than 10 classmates are going, I feel that it is no point wasting $69 on it. As predicted by Gin Way, Raymond was pissed that Ser Jin and gang "opted out" from the table. Wonder how many people actually went to queue up for the payment, since the batch of last year was quite enthusiastic (like starting to queue at 1:10 pm. :S).

Allan suggested going for a major LAN battle at Paradiz on the night itself, Dingjie offered to go clubbing, while Valerie Lau came up with a class outing either at Wild Wild Wet (very convenient, just next to my house) or Youwei's house. The general consensus was anything but prom night at Suntec. Sadly, I was charged to promote the Tequila Sunset to my class. As expected, the council was in for a disappointment.

Not sure where to go, on whether Ray and Ginway will form a new table, but probably not. Shouldn't be thinking too much about the future first, since there is a chemistry test happily set by teachers tomorrow.

Denise seems quite sad today, I do not know what I can do to help her. Is it due to family problems, I do not know? Maybe the only thing I can do now is pray for her.... Hope she feels better.

Heaven Blade and Dragon Sabre

I have been watching yi tian tu long ji for the past 2 weeks. Must say that the director did quite a fair job in making the novel interesting, though I am not sure how many parts did he massacre. According to Dingjie, the hero Zhang Wuji was supposed to learn a couple of other skills before learning some ultimate one. Nevertheless, I personally find the show exciting. Quite rare, since I don't watch TV. The last show I watch was Xiao Ao Jiang Hu, though they change a lot from the original plot.

This is also the first time I have watched a show from Jin Yong before reading his novels. Thus I hate whenever the show ends in a cliffhanger for next week. Regardless, at least the show represents something for me to look forward to after every week. It's worth it watching 2hrs per show during the weekends.

Had to reassure my friend that the Desert Rose isn't I.U.H.I.A.J, though it's understandable for him to think so. After all, she's the ban hua (literally means class flower). No, the Desert Rose is another person, and her name sounds similar to the Mongolian Princess in yi tian tu long ji...

Old Friend

Met my old friend online. Talked to him about everything under the sun(including how he knew Denise a long time ago). If only he did not transfer after the 1st 3 months, then it will be so much fun. Still reminisce the old times when the three of us used to go LAN for 10 hrs straight (that time, my stamina was amazing). When major exams approached, we would sneak to the Junior Block to study.

Now we are on separate paths, one in NJ and the other in AJ. (RAN) Sometimes, we will meet for a LAN session during the holidays, but we will still keep in touch. In 2 weeks from now, a major battle will be fought. Scholarship talks also start to make their presence felt. I am still undecided after attending today's talks. A*Star seems quite interesting. Nonetheless, I must RSVP to some of them soon.

The Desert Rose seems to be stressed by the exams too. Wonder what I can do to help, perhaps it's better that I remain silent? After all, I am grateful that she did not delete me from MSN. Maybe I will resume communications after A'levels, in which there will be a string of things that I want to do during the well-deserved break (that is in December):
-Borrowing all the VCDs (if it is possible) from the library. Apparently, the library is quite updated, compared to the crumbling facilities nearby.
-Fishing (though now the fishing pond is dead)
-SAT II
-Learn (actually force to learn) driving
-Cook :)
-Cycling around Singapore
-Invite people to chill out at Downtown East, which is next to my house
Hopefully, the Desert Rose still regards me as her friend. I miss talking to her terribly. Now, I must focus on my studies. I shall be cloaked until the time is ready.

Doomsday

Was walking through the desolate park by myself and at the same time thinking through several doomsday scenarios, since "isolation can do that to the mind". The park used to have a fishing pond. Now the pond is deserted. Whatever that used to be there is now gone. Ever wondered what will happen to this earth a 100 years later, where our future generations will take our stead? Hollywood has attempted to paint a few scenarios though:

Scenario 1:Matrix and Terminator, where advanced machines rule a destroyed earth.
Firstly, I don't believe Man will ever, much less fathom, be able to create sentient life out of machines. To do that is to suggest that Man can create life of his own creation, which is an exceedingly arrogant view. Machines can be programmed to kill, yes, but they cannot be programed to overwrite their own program for a new variant, ironical though it may sound.

Scenario 2:Climatic changes, such as The Day after tomorrow
Though scientists have dismissed this as a scientific fantasy, there are some truths in it. I suppose in the near future, earthquakes will occur on a more frequent basis. "The Earth itself is in rebellion against the inhabitants, for all their crimes and sins. Innocent blood has been shed, hence the revolt.", from one prominent speaker.

Scenario 3: Alien Invasion
Made famous by the War of the Worlds and Independence Day (incidentally, people actually believe that the former really took place, even though it was just a figment of imagination of H.G. Wells). Quite amusing, come to think of that. Why would a supposed more advanced alien spacecraft be interested in annihilating us from the surface of the earth, when we ourselves are doing that. Even without much intervention, Man will eventually make himself extinct (sadly, which includes the Desert Rose). After all, the "aliens" have 99.999999% of the rest of the universe to explore, why bother about us? However, I do believe that the appearances of these "aliens" (UFO, paranormal abduction)will be more common in time to come.

Having said so much, this scenario is what I gather from various sources:
Firstly, gays and lesbians will become widespread and common (which, their behaviours I seriously condemn..note I said behaviours) Already, their kinds are gathering pace in setting up "civil unions". Men will lust after men, women will lust after their kind.Sad but true in time to come. When this happens, many countries will have an exarcerbated ageing population, since young adults choose to adopt carnal, so called "liberated" and "open" lifestyles. In actual fact, they are in bondage, since they cannot and refuse to acknowledge what is morally wrong. Do you see other animals turning homosexual, even after the so called million of years of evolution? Even the theory of evolution purportedly says that homosexuality traits are selected against. (By the way, those that quote some animals do turn gays under experiments. All I have to say is that these animals are, well, subjected to experiments, where their biological pathways are unnaturally altered).
The European Union will rise, together with China, while USA will decline in terms of superpower. History tends to repeat itself, so I guess there will be a final and third World War. A character similar to Hitler will rise and unite Europe once more, though he will have an insignificant beginning. Atheistic and humanistic view will prevail, with the onset of more deadly viruses and pathogens, adding to the plethora of superbugs and "incurables". If you thought SARS was bad, the worse is yet to be.(pun though, Dingjie, don't take it too seriously). Cloning and eugenics may have reached to such an advanced level that it may be impossible for Man to age. (which can lead to more homosexuality, since Man no longer need to procreate to ensure survival). At the end, Mankind will perish from either pestilance, hunger and war, those that are left behind, by the so-called "Four Horses of Apocalypse".

Such a depressing thought though, but not all hope is lost. For now, life here in can be considered a blessing. I am thankful that at least friends, family and loved ones exist. As long as I can see a glimpse of Desert Rose safe and sound everyday, it is more than sufficient for me. :)

You're not alone

The title of my entry. FFIX fans should know that it comes from one of the most poignant moments in the game, in which the main character Zidane loses all faith in himself and start to go on depression mode.Only with the help of his friends did he recover (and become my most powerful character once again :). Never went home by myself (i.e from RJ to MRT) for a very long time this year. We always go home as a pack, a bunch, whatever you call it, either with a slow-moving group of classmates called girls or with the "Treetop Community" (why treetop community? coz we often sit at the same position during lectures, that's why). Feels weird walking by yourself under the blazing sun in the open carpark, where nothing stirs except the leaves. Always enjoyed looking at the surroundings, observing interesting behaviours among the passerbys. (though maybe not in the afternoon).

In the morning, there will always be a lady or a guy at the ground floor of the train station, shouting "Nasi Lemak curry puff ondeh ondeh?" (repeat many times). Sometimes, Zepeng will wait for Velda (or vice versa). The same goes for Hotseat and Month :). Occasionally, Kuan Yew, Meya, Dingjie, Ray and Ginway (though the both are quite rare) may join me in my morning stroll. Winglam will be waiting for her group of friends, while Wee Keat tends to walk fast with headphones on his ears. There used to be a group of workers that will camp near the lifts, with their pungent cigarette smells choking those who walk past. Now they are gone, not that I miss them. Last time, I had this habit to go to the toilet once I had reached Buona Vista. (after all, it's quite a long and cold journey here). Now I don't, even though the toilet is clean compared to RJ's, as a group of construction workers will often camp outside the cubicles. Don't like the feeling of them standing dangerously too close when I am answering nature's call, as my territorial instinct will go into hyperdrive.

Recently, there is a black chicken and rooster near RJ. Occasionally, I will pat the black chicken, which is quite docile. Never tried going near the rooster though. Anyway, the rooster does crow in the morning, at around 7.01 am. Wondered whether there will be a cluster of eggs among the bushes.

Sadly, the Desert Rose never comes by train, though according to Terrence she comes from the Red House. Quite dangerous though. Pray daily that Yahweh (or luck or someone up there, whatever your beliefs) will protect her. Either that or she comes on the train that is way too early for me.

Used to sit at the speaker's corner, waiting for Dingjie, reminding us of how lively our OG used to be. Everyday, people from YFC will play guitar and sing hymns. Due to increased security, this has become a thing of the past, just as whatever fragments of our OG that was left. Enthusiastic J1's occupy our former resting positions, though I believe not for long once the winds of change blow past.

What will people make of us 100 years later? When a person that will be 118 years like me, what memories will come flooding back when I flip through the yearbook, looking at the faded pictures of my friends, class and the Desert Rose? Will she be happy wherever she will be? I might never know.

Sick

After theTitanic Battle between 3I, some members of 3H, 3B and 3J and 3K on Saturday, I succumbed to a flu bug. I don't recall eating any "heaty" stuffs that week itself(including KFC with Raymond) , but I guessed it is probably due to a skipped lunch while engrossly playing LAN. Thankfully, I never donated blood on that week (ironically because I was sick 2 weeks earlier). Cannot imagine how much white blood cells will be M.I.A when I fell sick.

Woke up having a high fever of 38.3 (!!). Slept through most of today, getting up only to blog and blogsurf as I have just taken Panadol. Supposed to celebrate my father's birthday, but due to unforseen circumstances, I was left at home alone. Felt miserable as I had intended to finish the Physics options, which I was lagging behind. Was that how the Desert Rose felt during the previous week? She was sorely absent with a swollen eye, fever and sorethroat...must have been quite miserable.

After reading through abintan's blog, I realised I have no "balls of steel". Desert Rose was happily walking home with her friend and 2 of my classmates. Even in the presence of Alvin Ong and Ginway, I could not muster the courage to walk nonchantly past her. -.-'. Expectedly, got diaoed by the both of them. Sadly,

there was no autumn leaves to aid me in the process. How do I tell her that I like her, without sounding too desperate

?

By the way, all italised information is from abintan.diaryland.com
