New Year's Eve

Nightfall had descended upon the land. After one whole day of sleeping, lazing around and studying, I am finally awake. 2 more weeks before school reopens. Must say that I have enjoyed myself thoroughly. The next one will be even better, 3 months of pure bliss.

Ate some black chicken yesterday, which was why I had a bit of sore throat today. Levelled AO and my character during the past few days. 4 levels closer to 105.

Might be seeing Aliens Vs Predator 2 very soon.

Oh btw, a new cosplay shop just opened in the 3rd level of Suntec Tower 4. Spent my time browsing through the display sets and the catalogue. Quite an interesting array of costumes. I might decide to get that as a gift one day.

The King of Songs

Went to meet my army friends (all from logistics side) yesterday. Arrived 40 min late, just in time to collect the movie tickets for I am Legend. It would be quite a sad sight if Singapore becomes like New York City (in that show) one day. I would prolly go raid an army camp, get a SAR21 and a trusty dog as my sidekick.

Had dinner at the food court in the basement of Cineleisure. $4 for a ban noodles is a rip-off. @#$@#$@$. Even the $2.50 bowl at S11 had more ingredients and is more appetising.

Played Pool upstairs. As usual, the place is filled with smoke. After an hour or so of hitting balls, we continued singing all night (and all morning) in Kbox just nearby.

Sang from 10pm-6am. Ate many nuts, drank honey lemon and had a free buffet at around 1am. (from the leftovers of the earlier one). Sang until we all slumped in our seats, before taking the first train home.

Happy Hour

Had the gathering of the Treetop Community at Dragon Gate Restaurant, without AO. Met Thng and Eddie at Harbourfront MRT (after checking the online results). Met Raymond along the way. Were joined by Ken Toh, Yonglai and Ivan in the restaurant itself. Coincidentally, I saw one of my fellow batch mate in the table next to us. If our table was all guys, her table was all girls. Guess it would mean both RJC communities gathering in close proximity, albeit from a different era.

Fiddled around with Ivan's US$800 camera. Ate so much prawns that prawns are swimming in our gastric juices. They should really just rename it as Prawn Gate Restaurant. Waiting time was quite bad actually; waited for so damn long for the next serving.

Left the place after wasting 2 hours there. Went to Dhoby Ghaut to do the usual stuff--LAN. Initially went to Speedy to play Battlefield 2142, but the lousy LAN connection really pisses us off. So we left without paying a single cent, thanks to Thng and Eddie asserting their rights as dissatisfied customers. Crossed over the bridge to McMuster, or what used to be McMuster.

Played for 3 hours before proceeding for dinner at the foodcourt in PS. Since the queue was insane for the cinema shows, we decided to forgo watching movie. Left after dinner and continued playing DoTA with Eddie, GW and Eddie's friend.....100% victory.

Christmas Wishes

A long update. Neglected it due to my other commitments.

Has been roughly around one month since exams has ended. Revelations will be in a few days time. Must thank Gin way for going through heart physio with me, if not i would totally smoke through a whole question, though in the process I almost got his car clamped.

Finished Heroes V. If you are a fan of Heroes III, heroes V is a MUST buy. Some campaigns were quite challenging, especially the frustrating AI that always walk around the map with one peasant just to claim your mines.

Never touched Flyff for a long time. As expected, it came up an error box when I tried to load it. Had to manually patch it myself.

Had to study one of my papers again. Damnit. Realised that was the paper that I never touched the 10 year series at all. Grr.

Met Eddie, Ivan and Thng at Sim Lim Square yesterday. Had a generous portion of fried wanton noodles, though we didn't linger for too long because of the smoky air and fatigue.

Did my IPPT in Maju camp with Thng. Managed to scrape through with $100 in my hands. PTI was rather slack. Which is good, if not I would have failed. I think they were kinda xian of doing the same thing over and over again twice a week.

Now the only member left in our treetop that is not here is Alvin. The rest are ba ck. Including ken toh at home. Heard that he is using my Steam online account with glee. He better own with my account. After all, my reputation is at stake.

Will be attending a Christmas party at Whitney's house. A first for me. Never celebrated Christmas in a party before.

Weather is nice today. Shall proceed with an afternoon nap.

Resting

Spent some time putting aside all of my notes. Amazing how many ring files that I had used just in one semester only.

Just collected one of my script. At the same time, I played basketball with my batch mates, spraining my fourth finger in the process. Finished at around 4 plus. By the time I had reached home, it was time for dinner. Had my haircut on the way home. I learnt the name of a new hairstyle: spiky---instead of the usual armani and botak.

Dammnit. Had to retake Marketing paper again. *@#$#$@#. Picked up a new manga: D-grey Man while lazing in the confines of my home. Not a bad manga, though it really needs to improve in its fight scenes---some are just plain confusing at times.

Started my IPPT regime; have to do what every man has to do. Grr. Hope to get some money in the process.
