Final Fantasy--Last Boss

At the end of every FF game, there is always an end-boss for the protagonists to defeat. Usually, the big bad guy refuses to die in just a single fight and will linger on in different polymorphs.

In this story, our main character has reached the end of the game. After levelling up to the maximum level (usually 99 or 100 by convention), the party approaches the series of bosses.

Weapons sharpened, stats maxed. The ultimate of every item is obtained. (at least in my FF games, almost). What is unusual is that the main char is alone facing the bosses.

There are 5 bosses altogether. Two come together, the rest come in alternate days. Let's enjoy the ending credits by the end of May.

End of Myself

I'm feeling very frustrated studying for the extra modules. The questions are reminiscent of GP essay questions which I last encountered 3 years ago.

Went back to the school library to borrow a Redspot Neuroscience textbook yesterday. Wanted to meet Thng for dinner, but he was having a late afternoon nap. Had two chat sessions with one of the tutors; it's like MSN conference.

Managed to get 0.5 marks after the tutor said I could email him regarding any discrepancy. I am thankful for the grace shown towards me. It's better not to push my "luck" a second time. Eddie and Co. will only be back on the 16th May; AO will be some time later. At last another TTC meeting to look forward to; the silence and boredom of looking of my notes are making me pull my hair.

I had to admit I felt quite demoralised from the past results received. Only divine intervention and grace can help me now...

The Broken Mask

After countless days of reading through various blogs, I decided to return to this website again. By tomorrow, I would have finished reading through everything once (almost). Time for the second round during the last week.

My morale has been low for the past few days. I need something to cheer me up. Minor things must not get to me; if not how do I face the greater challenges in life later on? The only way is grit my teeth and bite on like a bulldog to a piece of bone.

Anime fillers are around the season. All the people in the Treetop Community are putting in their best efforts..how can I be like a sack of potatoes? The final exams will be a boost to all my grades.

Had a pleasant chat with ....... on MSN a few days ago. At least it helped to kill boredom. Signed up for some work attachment during the holidays. Better to get paid for doing your profession than lazing at home.

The mask is almost broken..but at the last moment, his strike of resolve greatly weakens his enemy.

28 Days Later

Recently, one of the Western food stall in the Science Canteen had collapsed. Not surprisingly, it was Bambino. Even at peak hours during lunch, there was barely any queue. Perhaps, whispers of the infamous pasta had made even the bravest of souls out there lose heart.

Coincidentally, the other Western food stall in the premise began to sell pasta. Much to my delight, some were quite tasty. More choices for my tastebuds. (although they are also relatively more expensive compared to the rest of the Science canteen food).

While on my way to the Science library, we chanced upon a wobbling rat in broad daylight. OMG! It even stood on the spot long enough for us to take photos with our camwhoring phones. It then wobbled across from the drain to the open green patch of grass nearby, wandering about (and almost brushing past us!)

Sad to say, it probably died, when we returned to the same spot a few days later, with decomposing carcass and all. It was quite a disgusting sight; it's clearly decomposed, and rapidly so under this humid weather. Its skin was only a cover to hide its skeleton. I shall spare you the rest of the details. (I think I saw a man hold the dead rat by the tail and dumping it into the nearby bushes! What the @#$@!)

Tried the McGridle burger Breakfast set today. Quite an interesting concept; the buns are cooked in honey, and there is a logo of "M" on it as well. Unfortunately, I can no longer apply to be a Macdonald member, since Macs is phasing out membership by the end of next month. -_-

Managed to compress my Wednesday into my Tuesday timetable. Going back for one hour on Wednesday is simply a waste of my energy, since I take 3 hrs in total to travel.
Shall spent my free day tomorrow doing a summary on Biochem....

A glance of the purple rose made the weary traveller glad in his heart. It made everything worth it for today, even if it was only for a fleeting moment...
