Old Airport Road

After service, I went with my older sis, Jie Fu, Serene and Andrew for a short but delicious meal at Old Airport Road. Decided to be adventurous and try another Western Food Stall.

Holy Grill! That's really the name of the stall. Apparently, the stall owners were so busy cooking for customers that they put a stack of order forms in front. (with pencils provided!) It's feels quite weird passing your order form (with your HP number to boot) to the stall owner without saying anything.

After a substantial wait, a ring to my handphone and some walking to and fro, I finally had my Western meal. It tasted unique; though on hindsight I should have replaced my salad pasta with some other side dish.

Next time I shall try Lau Fu Zi Char Kway Teow, which my sis had said it was overrated.

Decisions

While Zx is afk for ultra long mugging all the while, I was also busy preparing for tests that are gonna come as sure as sunrise. Spent my day today poring through my notes, as well as letting my character afk skill train in Cabal.

My close friend had asked me to join her in studying during the break. Sadly, I'm not sure if I can join her..there's gonna be camp during the exam week. Sigh. I so wish...

I am thankful that sometimes doors were seemingly shut, causing a wavering of faith. But at the end, I trust that somehow, all things will worketh for good for all who trust... :)

More Buses and Train

After 4 long hours of lecture, I made my way to the bus stop---I chose to take 198 across 198 instead of 95 just across the road. That was mistake no. 1; I had ended up waiting for more than 16 **** minutes for that single bus! Almost fell asleep on the bus, when I realised that I had reached Buona Vista MRT.

Just as I was going up the escalator, I missed the eastbound train. Ended up waiting for 6 min for the next **** train to come. As usual, the train was packed with humans. Trudged my body towards the intercarriage link. Again, I had almost fallen asleep standing up. This continued for many more stops until I reached Bedok. Finally, I had a vacant seat that allowed me to rest. Plonked myself and I think I really fell asleep.

On the way home, I bought a Cadbury Mcflurry (new concoction by Macs), which promptly melted into a slurry in the blazing sun. Ended up drinking the slush. Reached home and got myself a well-deserved break before dinner.

Joo Koon. Still not used to seeing "Joo Koon 5 min" instead of "Boon Lay 5 min". Why does Joo Koon sound like Raccoon to me? Aha lame.
