Triple Kill

Decided to meet with the usual people after being bored cooped up at home. Since I had arrived early, I wandered around PS like a lost bird before being informed that the dinner was to be at The Cathay. Hence, I breathed in more smoke as I made my way there.

By the time I had reached there, there were hungry Singaporeans queuing up with Ivan at the basement Japanese eatery. 99c for all sushi seemed to irresistible to hungry stomachs. Eddie joined us after collecting his books at Peace Centre.

Finally entered the eatery; ate 5 plates in the end while the rest ate more. After a while, all sushi tasted similar; had enough of japanese rice.

Observed many 7/10 walking around, enjoying their Friday freedom as the wolf walked around. Walked to PS and back to tau huey stall while deciding on desserts. Ivan, the ice-cream man, departed from the three of us early as rain water is hazardous to him.

After he left, the 3 of us braved the slight drizzle to fill our stomachs. Queued up for the usual. In her hurry of getting me a $2 change, the auntie gave me back $7. Not bad. Paid $2 to eat $3 worth of soya bean. Happily, we went back to savour the taste of free-dom. Decided to try the same trick one more time, but unfortunately, there was sufficient change around, and the vicinity was less crowded. Nonetheless, we drank 3 more cups of soya bean drink. 10c for $5.10 worth of soya bean products is a great supper to end the day.

Like what Eddie said, I managed to continue my streak; she was really online, even after I bathed, brushed, flossed, gargled. Happily chatted with her for a few hours before exhaustion took over...

Miscellaneous

Have been going out for the past few days, especially to NUS. Went to meet Eddie and his friend for lunch after some scaling and polishing. Indonesian food at Engine Canteen is overrated; the piece of meat known as chicken chop makes me thirst like crazy. While I ingest this horribly salty meal, Eddie was editing an atrocious Science paper about understanding the universe.

Went our separate ways after lunch; took a train ride to Bukit Batok after waiting for close to an eternity for bus 95, as usual.

Met up with one of my friend and accompanied her until City Hall; at least I did not spend half of my time dozing off. Coincidentally, after she left, I noticed that Ashraf was standing near me all along! We were oblivious to each other until she left. Hence, my whole journey from the west to the east was interesting, to say the least.

Overnight Stay

Met up with zx after completing a paper at ACJC hall. Left 1/2 hour earlier since my stomach is growling. Chilled out at JEC's food court which was already closing while waiting for Eddie.

Wanted to eat Aston's Western food, but I guess we arrived too late. Settled for a $5 chicken cutlet. It tasted decent to me, perhaps it was due to partaking my previous meal at 3pm. Heard that the Science canteen Western food store now charges $2.60 for a chicken chop, an increase from 30 cents. Caused an uproar in zx, who is used to economical food.

Stayed over at zx's house, not before sending Eddie home by his car. Concussed at around 1 a.m to 2a.m. Decided not to set any alarm and let my body clock dictate my actions tomorrow.

Lazed around until 10 a.m. Left refreshed due to zx's hospitality, although the train ride of 54 min bored the hell out of me.

Aloha

Spent 5 days at Aloha Changi. Initially wanted to only stay for 3 days; ended up sleeping over for the whole camp. Forged closer friendships with my classmates. This is the first time I took part in a camp as a senior.

My prayers are really answered. Not only the purple rose came, but also the two other roses as well. It was like heaven on earth. I am more than contented to be able to have spent some quality time in their presence.

Aim for next academic year: To make both my goals a reality in my life; a combination of the goodness enjoyed in the past two sems...
