Recently, one of the Western food stall in the Science Canteen had collapsed. Not surprisingly, it was Bambino. Even at peak hours during lunch, there was barely any queue. Perhaps, whispers of the infamous pasta had made even the bravest of souls out there lose heart.
Coincidentally, the other Western food stall in the premise began to sell pasta. Much to my delight, some were quite tasty. More choices for my tastebuds. (although they are also relatively more expensive compared to the rest of the Science canteen food).
While on my way to the Science library, we chanced upon a wobbling rat in broad daylight. OMG! It even stood on the spot long enough for us to take photos with our camwhoring phones. It then wobbled across from the drain to the open green patch of grass nearby, wandering about (and almost brushing past us!)
Sad to say, it probably died, when we returned to the same spot a few days later, with decomposing carcass and all. It was quite a disgusting sight; it's clearly decomposed, and rapidly so under this humid weather. Its skin was only a cover to hide its skeleton. I shall spare you the rest of the details. (I think I saw a man hold the dead rat by the tail and dumping it into the nearby bushes! What the @#$@!)
Tried the McGridle burger Breakfast set today. Quite an interesting concept; the buns are cooked in honey, and there is a logo of "M" on it as well. Unfortunately, I can no longer apply to be a Macdonald member, since Macs is phasing out membership by the end of next month. -_-
Managed to compress my Wednesday into my Tuesday timetable. Going back for one hour on Wednesday is simply a waste of my energy, since I take 3 hrs in total to travel.
Shall spent my free day tomorrow doing a summary on Biochem....
A glance of the purple rose made the weary traveller glad in his heart. It made everything worth it for today, even if it was only for a fleeting moment...
