Sister's Graduation.
After many trials and tribulations, my sister managed to graduate from her university. She had to juggle between work and study, handling online assignments as well as serving other passengers in the plane at irregular times. (for example, she could be on call for the next flight, and if one stewardess decided to take a leave, she had to fill the void).
Took great efforts in cleaning myself up. Spent an unusually long time of 1/2 hour in the toilet, ensuring that every single dirt has been washed down the drain. My sis can consider this her lucky day, since I rarely took such notice for my appearance, much to her frustration for being a tad sloppy (like most guys do generally).
My younger sis took an even longer time than me. By the time she emerged from the toilet, the floor was *ankle-deep filled with water* (exaggeration to prove my point). Just like a swan transformed....Since my father rejected the invitation in a fit of anger, only my mother, my little sis and I took a cab to Hilton hotel.
Came in 10 minutes late, in the middle of the Dean/Professor ?'s speech, due to the inservice provided by the ignorant taxi driver. Surprisingly, the ceremony was kept short. We certainly deserved better for the buffet provided after the ceremony. $45 per head isn't exactly cheap (plus the withdrawal from my father, which my poor sister had to foot).
Went to visit my grandmother's house. (my mother's side) Had to gingerly avoid the vomit filled lift (with a dead cockroach to match, must have died of eating the vomit) and take the other lift that smelled of ammonia (similiar to my rabbit's hutch).
Had dinner at a nearby coffeeshop, before going home.
