Was quite amused when I read the news from the Health Ministry that Singapore is facing a shortage of medical doctors and pharmacists, even though NUS has already expanded their intake. I heard they were quite confident that Singaporeans studying overseas will answer their call of duty to Singapore, when they graduate and return to homeland to contribute to the health care sector. For now, foreign talent will fill the void.
Just finished my reports and my quota of the day. Now it is time to put theory to practice. Went to the market earlier. Regretted spending $12 for a not-so decent haircut, in anticipation of my reservist call-up. Maybe I should not use the word anticipation. Plan to settle my IPPT date by this week.
Collected some free goodies (Mid-autumn celebrations) from the Management Corporation, which included a small mooncake, a water bottle, etc. Might as well make full use of the benefits that came because of the monthly maintenance.
And finally my nose has stopped clogging like a sewer pipe. It feels good to be well again.
